After having the camera for a couple of months and coming to terms with the amount of buttons and a big difference between clicking a phone shot and having to consider what to do with ISO, aperture and exposure time and how it affects your shot.
These are some shots while I was out on a morning fishing attempt, didn’t manage to catch anything but I got some half decent photos so it wasn’t that much of a waste.
The way this is displayed on the website triggers me, the new camera makes pictures tall when in portrait and it does not line up nicely. I have put it on the list of things to do so ill get to it one day.
Also managed to find a glass ball that takes some interesting shots upside down but you need to be careful with it as it will burn you or try to catch fire to something with the suns rays.
A tiny tucked away spot on the main street of Akaroa had this wee gem setup for curious people to notice, it was fairly busy with the car show on and a cruise ship in the harbour.
We went camping over at Okains bay one weekend and there was a car show in Akaroa that had some really interesting machines in attendance, I also figured out that I did not have enough money to buy one of the many McLaren’s there.
This American police car was a giant tank, I think it had a five hundred or so cubic inch motor I would not envy the fuel bill to drive this thing around.
A very tidy example of a rotary, it was a proper race car decked out with a roll cage.
My favourite shot of the weekend was this astro shot, This one has taken some editing to clean it up and adjust the colours and brighten it up so it really makes the milky way pop.
Overall I have come away with some really nice shot in the last few months and have learnt a fair amount about how different things affect the shot, thanks to you tube mainly there are some awesome photographers out there sharing there knowledge with the world.
